Trump leaves hospital to wave at supporters, putting his own staff at risk

In the late afternoon on Sunday, Donald Trump released a minute long video saying he was feeling better and “It’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about Covid. I learned it by really going to school. This is the REAL school. This isn’t the ‘let’s read the book’ school. And I get it. And I understand it. And it’s a very interesting thing.

Fox News reporter leaves anchor speechless with rant on Trump’s failure to denounce white supremacy

Donald Trump and his administration’s inability to just condemn white supremacy and domestic terrorist groups straight out is extraordinary. One the one hand, it isn’t surprising because Trump’s administration is as clear an example of white supremacist leadership as our country has seen in the modern era. On the other hand, it is surprising that they continue to try and parse language and pigheadedly refuse to do it from an optics stand point.

Protests in Louisville grow after no officers held accountable in Breonna Taylor’s murder

The announcement on Wednesday, after more than six months, that only one of the three officers involved in the shooting death of 25-year-old EMT Breonna Taylor would receive a charge was disappointing. When it became clear that not only was that charge minimal (endangerment), but that it did not relate to the actual killing of Ms. Taylor but the fact that one officer shot so wildly that his bullets missed Taylor and hit other apartments, depression and anger set in.

In the email, the christian (with a little “c”) David Muns threatens Jeong with genital mutilation, calling her a “bitter Asian woman.” The entirety of his statement will be discussed below, and includes graphic language, but those are the broad strokes.

Tucker Carlson rages after social media platforms finally check his racist conspiracies

Patagonia has a new clothing label that’s getting people hot under the collar

Patagonia has been very openly in opposition to every terrible move made by the current Republican administration. They have dedicated the ill-gotten Republican tax-cut money to climate change grassroots activism. They have launched lawsuits against the Trump administration and its move to take away federal land from the people and give it to private industry.

On Tuesday, photos went viral across the internet, purporting to show a new label on a Patagonia item of clothing.

Report: Trump refused to honor American war dead, calling them ‘losers’

Update by Kos: Clearly sensing the damage this is doing to him politically, Trump issued a three-tweet denial Thursday night.

..Country, had to be approved by me, as President, & I did so without hesitation or complaint. Quite the contrary, I felt it was well deserved. I even sent Air Force One to bring his body, in casket, from Arizona to Washington. It was my honor to do so. Also, I never called..— Donald J.

Luckily, McMillon quickly drove off before anyone got hurt.

Black family hides photos, Toni Morrison books in order to get fair real estate appraisals

There are different ways that bigotries and bias infiltrate our lives and fuel the cycle of systemic racial and economic inequality in our communities at large. The New York Times published a story on Tuesday highlighting real estate appraisals and the racial bias faced by Black Americans across the country. The first example covered is Abena and Alex Horton, a biracial couple who began the process of refinancing their Jacksonville, Florida home in June.

Florida man Rep. Gaetz had embarrassing crying text sessions … with Sean Hannity

On Friday, the House Ethics Committee gave out the lightest admonishment to Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida for his obstructing justice tweet back in February of 2019. This was when Rep. Gaetz publicly threatened former Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen. The statement came right before Cohen was set to testify under oath about his former boss. Rep. Gaetz followed that up by deleting the tweet and then apologizing, sort of. The ethics committee said that Rep.

Questions arise after infamous anti-Semitic documents were sent from the FBI’s Twitter account

On Aug. 19, 2020, at 11 AM PST, the FBI tweeted out a message that just included an attachment with the title: “Protocols of Learned Elders of Zion.” That’s pretty much all this story needs to say. But in case you don’t know what the significance of this is, it is somewhat similar to—though not the same as—tweeting out Mein Kampf with just a link to a PDF of the book by Adolf Hitler.

Marco Rubio epically owns himself in bizarre attempt at criticizing the DNC

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida has made a career out of being a wild disappointment. Once every few days, Rubio will come out and say something pathetic and get dragged online for his craven hypocrisy. Since the Democratic Party held the first night of their convention Monday night, it was the perfect time for Rubio to publicly stick his foot in his mouth. Actor and activist Eva Longoria served as the host of last night’s unique virtual convention.
